After the success of the recent runway show of Virgil Abloh’s debut collection for Louis Vuitton, a special preview were held at Louis Vuitton’s Showroom in Paris. Guests were able to have a closer look on the Men’s Spring/Summer 2019 Collection. These includes the ready-to-wear items, accessories, shoes and handbags. As seen on the runway, Abloh has used the iconic Monogram pattern with a mix of new materials like PVC and ceramic chains. Classic handbags were updated with these new details, giving it a modern look. A blueprint carrier inspired bag were also part of the collection, which is made of red Monogram leather. While the Vachetta leather were used in the Steamer and Christopher backpack. Small leather goods were also presented in the showroom, as well as black mini trunk bags.
