Part of the Normandy Impressionist Festival in France is an exhibition entitled “Impressions Dior”. The exhibition opened in May 4, 2013 and will run until September 22, 2013. Located in Villa Les Rhumbs in Granville, France, the Christian Dior Museum is the founder’s childhood home. The show exhibits different artwork collection and creations of Christian Dior. It also incudes the creations of the recent Dior designers John Galliano and Raf Simons, as well as, paintings by Monet, Degas and Renoir. The focus of this exhibition is to show the connection between the French brand and the Impressionist Movement.
Rizzoli NY has also published a book in connection with the exhibition, also entitled “Impressions: Dior”.
