Dior recently launched their Dior Lady Art #3 at their boutique in the Miami Design District. This project presents reinterpretations of different artists on their iconic Lady Dior Bag. The bags were made in various materials including metal, rope, chains, fur and embroideries.
For its third season, Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri chose 11 women around the world to rework the Lady Dior Bag. These artists are:
- Morgane Tschiember from France
- Lee Bul from Korea
- Olga de Amaral from Colombia
- Burçak Bingöl from Turkey
- Isabelle Cornaro from France
- Haruka Kojin from Japan
- Polly Apfelbaum from USA
- Janaina Tschäpe from USA
- Mickalene Thomas from USA
- Pae White from USA
- Li Shurui from China
These one-of-a-kind Lady Dior bags will soon be making a global debut this week at Art Basel in Miami. Limited quantities will be available for purchase at the Miamin boutique.
By January 2019 it will be available in select stores in North America and around the world.
