Introducing the Valentino Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Bag Collection. Valentino’s latest collection is greatly inspired by African culture. Seen on the runway are handbags that were hand-painted by artisans and features the Maasai pattern, which was also seen on the beading, this includes the classic Lock Flap and B-Rockstud Bags.
Mini tribal masks were used as embellishments on different flap bags this season. New flaps were introduced which features a large buckle closure, and another miniature size with chain shoulder straps.
The Rockstud Tote and My Rockstud Top Handle are also part of the collection in intricate embossed patterns, embroideries and embellishments. Some of the bags’ straps and handles are presented in multicolor beading and animal prints.
