Rumour has it that Louis Vuitton’s next show for Resort 2015 will be held in Monaco on May 17, 2014 (as confirmed by WWD). Â Usually the resort collection for Louis Vuitton is just a lookbook; however, along the lines of Chanel and Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton will be staging another show as Nicholas Ghesquiere’s second collection for the brand. Â Many are signalling this as the brand’s effort on putting a greater focus back on the runway. Â Previous resort and pre-fall collections were typically prepared by the womenswear studio director but the upcoming season will be prepared by Nicholas himself.
