Hermes has invited Argentinian artist Julio Le Parc for the fourth edition of Hermès Éditeur. The artist specializes in modern optical and kinetic art which he incorporated on the brand’s iconic scarves. This project is entitled “Variations autour de La Longue Marche“, which introduces ten series in six different themes, with a total of 60 variations. He presented his “La Longue Marche” (1974-1975) designs on the silk scarves.
The scarves are made of 100% silk twill with hand rolled hem. It is placed in a cylindrical case which inlcudes a certificate of authenticity and a book. Each scarf measures 36″ x 36” (90×90 cm) and is priced at €7,000.00 (about $7,900.00 USD). An exclusive book is also available for €35.00.
