Presenting the Balenciaga Spring 2014 Runway Bag Collection. This is the second collection of Alexander Wang for Balenciaga since he started last November. A new purse style was presented on the runway; however accessories were sparse and the focus were the incredible RTW pieces.
The purse itself was a large bar tote with latches on the side to close. It has no straps but a built in handle. The shape of the bag is narrow with a wide base, which could possibly make it easy to use as a clutch. It was shown in black crocodile, black leather and pink leather. The classic logo "Balenciaga Paris" is included on the front of the flap closure.
The iconic Balenciaga motorcycle jacket is also back, although with a more modern shape and cuts. It appears with shorter sleeves and a more boxy shape.
