Introducing the Dior Men’s Spring/Summer 2019 Runway Bag Collection. For Kim Jones’ debut collection, he has taken his inspiration from Dior archives. As per Christian Dior’s autobiography, there are two Diors: the man and the myth. Jones has paid tribute to Monsieur Dior for this collection, inspired by Dior’s personal life, including his dog, Bobby. He collaborated with New York-based artist Kaws, also known as Brian Donnelly and Yoon of Ambush to recreate signature emblems for the house.
The iconic Saddle bag was made used for the first time in the Men’s collection. Aside from the shoulder bag, it appeared as a cross-body bags, clutch and belt bags. The saddle shape was also used as pockets for backpacks and jackets. The brand’s signature Cannage pattern, were seen in perforated style in duffle and tote bags. The bags comes with adorable charms like bees, which is the Dior Men’s emblem.
